Can I recommend a friend?

If you know someone who would like to join the Food Diary then you can ask them to enter their details on our volunteer website www.volunteer4panels.com. You can only participate in the Foods Diary if you are also a member of our household shopping panels (National Shopping Monitor or Shopandscan) and are actively scanning your household grocery and toiletry shopping.

We do not guarantee that we can invite them to join a panel straightaway as there may not be a vacancy in their area.

How do I leave Food Diary?

We appreciate your help with this survey and would like you to be able to complete the 7 day online diary and hope you will enjoy doing so. We also hope you would be willing to participate again in the future. However if you feel that you no longer want to participate in the Foods Diary task or would prefer to participate at a different time then just let us know at our helpdesk.

This will not affect your membership of our household shopping panels (National Shopping Monitor or Shopandscan) and you should continue to scan your shopping as normal.

Do I need to continue scanning my shopping as normal?

You can only participate in the Foods Diary if you are also a member of our household shopping panels (National Shopping Monitor or Shopandscan) and are actively scanning your shopping.

It is important that you scan (and transmit) your shopping as soon as you can during the 7 day period you are completing the diary.

This will make the diary task much easier and more efficient for you as we use your recent purchasing to help you select the food and drink you and your household may have consumed during the week.
